A chance meeting between Chuck Pritchett, a Houston transplant originally from New Orleans and David Hanson, a native Bostonian residing in Houston, sparked a unique friendship that has endured over 25 years.

Chuck Pritchett and David Hanson have a history that goes back to 1977. At that time, they both worked in a custom clothing store in the Galleria (Houston), where they developed their friendship and working relationship.

Their association there lasted from 1977 until 1982, when Chuck left to service his customers on a one-on-one basis in their homes and offices. This personalized attention to detail would form the basis for "The Village Clothier".

David continued to work in the Galleria location until 2002. It seemed like the natural thing to rejoin forces with his old friend, Chuck, and the rest, as they say, is history.

The Village Clothier was founded on the ideal
